NYP Player of the Week, Pompey of Batavia Monday, June 29th, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the New York-Penn League, but last week Tristan Pompey of the Batavia Muckdogs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Pompey rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (12-for-28), no home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. |
