NWL Star of the Week Announced Monday, July 6th, 2020 So far in his young career, Neyfy Castillo has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Northwest League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Hillsboro Hops third baseman hit at a torrid .444 clip as he collected 8 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this year Castillo has 3 home runs and a .321 batting average. |
