Cleveland Indians starter Danny Salazar was in fine form against the San Francisco Giants at Progressive Field, leading his team to a win, 3-2. Salazar went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 1-1. James Karinchak finished the game for Cleveland and earned his 1st save.

Jordan Luplow went 2 for 2 with a double and a walk for Cleveland. The 26-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Dany Jimenez. It was his 12th RBI of the season.

"Winning never gets dull," said Salazar.

The triumph puts Cleveland at 21-15 for the season.
