People outside the ballpark no doubt heard the roar of the crowd as the winning run crossed the plate.

The Cincinnati Reds got a superb performance from shortstop Freddy Galvis. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Cleveland. The Indians won the game, 7-6. Galvis went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Daniel Stumpf notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 2-0.

Cesar Hernandez was the walk-off hero for Cleveland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Indians second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Hernandez described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
