Twins Stun Yankees, 7-4

Minnesota and New York duked it out and the Twins came out victorious.
The Minnesota Twins topped the New York Yankees by the score of 7-4, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Miguel Sano. Sano was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Twins. Addison Reed earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 2-0.
Sano had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Chad Green, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Twins a 7-3 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Sano.
Sano told the Minnesota Bulletin: "I was born for the big stage."
Minnesota is now riding a 3-game win streak.
