Bogaerts, Red Sox Too Much for Indians
The Boston Red Sox defeated the Cleveland Indians, 6-1, at Progressive Field today. Leading the charge for Boston was shortstop Xander Bogaerts. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Boston is now 31-32, Cleveland 38-25.

With Boston leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Bogaerts hit a changeup from Shane Bieber for a 2-run double. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Red Sox ahead, 3-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Bogaerts.
