Yelich Slugs Brewers to 11-6 Win
|
The Milwaukee Brewers topped the Minnesota Twins, 11-6, with left fielder Christian Yelich playing a big role. Yelich belted 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3 for the Brewers in the win. The third-place Brewers lifted their record to 32-40.
Eric Sogard, the 34-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sogard contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Milwaukee up, 4-0.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Yelich.
