Astros Lose to Athletics in Walk Off
|
The Oakland Athletics picked up a win at Oakland Coliseum, taking down the Houston Astros, 6-5. Starting pitcher Frankie Montas was a big reason why. With the victory, the Athletics upped their record to 44-33.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Oakland trailing 5-4, Khris Davis hit a fastball from Ryan Pressly for a 2-run home run, giving the Athletics the walk-off win.
"We take it day by day here," said Davis, "and today was a good one for us."
