Rendon Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Los Angeles in Walk-Off Win
|
Los Angeles and Texas duked it out and the Angels came out victorious.
Los Angeles Angels starter Shohei Ohtani was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Texas Rangers, 6-3. Los Angeles pitcher Ty Buttrey got the win, upping his record to 2-2. Jose Leclerc got the loss.
Anthony Rendon was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Angels third baseman hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Rendon.
Texas now has a 5-game losing streak.
