Twins Defeat Astros, 4-2

The exploits of first baseman Miguel Sano, who leads the AL in home runs with 26, helped the Minnesota Twins defeat the Houston Astros, 4-2. Sano hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Taylor Rogers was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 12 of 13 save opportunities. At 35-45, Minnesota is in 4th place in the American League Central Division.
Sano had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 fastball from Ryan Pressly, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Twins a 4-2 lead. It was the 26th home run of the year for Sano.
Sano called the win "a collective effort."
