Ramirez Slugs Indians to 7-6 Win
The Cleveland Indians topped the Kansas City Royals by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Jose Ramirez. Ramirez slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Indians on the day. Shane Bieber got credit for the win, improving to 5-7. He allowed 6 runs on 10 hits in 7.1 innings. It could have been a different outcome for Cleveland, had it not been for Franmil Reyes, the 24-year old right fielder . Reyes contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Cleveland up, 4-3.
