Correa Slugs Astros to 15-7 Win
With shortstop Carlos Correa leading the charge, the Houston Astros defeated the Texas Rangers, 15-7, at Minute Maid Park. Correa, who is tied for 10th in the AL in extra base hits with 39, hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The win was credited to Brad Peacock in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Joely Rodriguez took the loss. Houston raised its record to 51-30 with the win.

Houston grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Aledmys Diaz delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 8-7 in favor of the Astros.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Correa said. "We did a good job of that today."
