Bad News For VanMeter and Cincinnati Sunday, July 5th, 2020 Cincinnati Reds second baseman Josh VanMeter informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from a torn ligament in his thumb. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," VanMeter admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Reds doctors told BNN VanMeter would not return for one week. To date this year VanMeter is batting .265 with 4 home runs. |
