Toronto Blue Jays Ship Shoemaker to Houston Sunday, July 5th, 2020 In a hastily called press conference, Toronto announced today a trade with Houston that will send 33-year-old minor league RHP Matt Shoemaker to the Astros in exchange for 18-year-old minor league LF Frank Perez, 23-year-old minor league RHP Eli Nabholz and 23-year-old minor league RHP Franyel Casadilla. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. His lifetime totals give Shoemaker 44 victories and 32 defeats with a 3.80 ERA. |
