Los Angeles's Pederson Gets NL Player of the Week Monday, July 6th, 2020 At the age of 28, Joc Pederson might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Los Angeles left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .381 batting average. For his efforts Pederson collected the National League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 21 at-bats, 7 home runs and 13 RBIs last week in 6 games. Pederson is batting .243 this season in 88 games with 26 home runs, 60 RBIs and 58 runs scored.
