Trouble in Atlanta, Dayton Suffers Setback Friday, July 10th, 2020 Grant Dayton is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a stiff back. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Braves sent the 32-year-old reliever back to the doctors for reexamination. Dayton told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Dayton will now miss a minimum of one week. This year Dayton has 1 save in 43 relief appearances with a 5-3 record and 3.38 ERA. |
