Chicago Loses Lester for Season Saturday, July 11th, 2020 After several days of waiting for test results, bad news was delivered to Jon Lester today. The Chicago starting pitcher will be out the rest of the year due to a torn back muscle he suffered on 07/10/2020. On the season Lester has compiled a 5-6 mark with a 5.42 ERA in 19 starts. In pitching 88 innings he has 80 strikeouts and 40 walks while limiting the opposition to a .265 batting average. |
