Monday, July 13th, 2020
The house was rockin' -- Target Field, that is -- site of this year's Home Run Challenge. A jubilant Miguel Sano outlasted the rest of the field to win the title. The Minnesota Twins first baseman vanquished Max Muncy in the final round by a score of 18-17.
"It was a battle of attrition," said Sano, "and I happened to be the last man standing."
Sano is batting .242 lifetime with 514 hits, 97 doubles, 6 triples, 151 home runs, 383 RBIs to date. He has also scored 344 runs.
