Diamondbacks Bumgarner Suffers Setback Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today that Madison Bumgarner will miss an additional 5 days after the starting pitcher suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from thumb contusion. While the setback is believed to be minor, the Diamondbacks want Bumgarner to take his time and fully recover before coming back. This year Bumgarner has a 8-6 mark in 19 starts with a 3.90 ERA. He has given up 114 hits in 122.1 innings, struck out 125 and issued 29 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .246 batting average against him. |
