Injury Setback for Pirates Bell Thursday, April 23rd, 2020 The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that first baseman Josh Bell will not be returning as quickly as expected from injury. "There was a bit of a setback, but nothing to be concerned about," one team official told reporters. "Josh will probably miss another 6 days because of this, but everyone expects him to make a full recovery." This year Bell is hitting .182, produced 9 RBIs and 2 home runs, scored 11 times and gotten on base at a .289 rate. |
