Stanton and Ramirez Suspended for Free-for-All Friday, May 1st, 2020 Giancarlo Stanton of New York and Carlos Alejandro Ramirez of Toronto were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Stanton will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Ramirez was given 3 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. So far this year Stanton is batting .246 with 10 home runs. For the season Ramirez is 1-and-0 with no saves and a 11.32 ERA. He has given up 15 hits in 10.1 innings with 11 strikeouts. |
