Cole Holds Rays Scoreless Monday, May 11th, 2020 Gerrit Cole of New York easily handled the Tampa Bay Rays, stopping them on 3 hits and chucking a complete-game 10-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." He finished the game with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in a solid outing.
