Arraez Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, May 28th, 2020 Win or lose, Luis Arraez just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 2 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Minnesota Twins left fielder went 2-for-4 today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 7-2 by the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Luis Arraez struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This year Arraez has batted at a .353 pace with 66 hits, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 24 times. |
