San Diego Right Fielder Nets NL Award Monday, June 8th, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the National League, but last week Trent Grisham of the San Diego Padres reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Grisham rocked opposing pitching for a .414 average (12-for-29), 1 home run and 12 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season, Grisham is hitting at a .288 clip with 6 home runs, 34 RBIs and has scored 19 runs. He has 45 hits, 26 walks and a .388 on-base percentage. |
