Cincinnati Reds Ship Galvis to San Francisco Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the Cincinnati Reds have swapped 30-year-old SS Freddy Galvis and $1,510,000 in cash to the San Francisco Giants for 23-year-old minor league RHP Tristan Beck and 24-year-old minor league RHP Ryan Walker. The Reds GM told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it." Galvis is presently hitting at a .261 pace with 5 home runs, 26 RBIs and has scored 23 times. |
