Bang-up Game: Walker Slams 3 Homers

Christian Walker went yard three times in a Arizona Diamondbacks victory over the Colorado Rockies at Colorado Field today.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the Arizona first baseman went 3-for-5 against Colorado with 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Diamondbacks to the 12-2 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Christian Walker grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Kyle Freeland in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Wes Parsons in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Bryan Shaw in the 5th and struck out in the 7th.
Walker currently has a .299 batting average with 41 hits, 11 homers, 29 RBIs, 23 runs scored and a .368 OBP.
