Early Season End for Gonzalez Tuesday, April 14th, 2020 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Pittsburgh's Erik Gonzalez to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 04/13/2020 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Gonzalez said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Gonzalez has been out of action since he suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament. On the year Gonzalez is hitting .250 with 12 hits, no home runs, 5 RBIs, .265 OBP and has scored 4 runs. |
