NL Player of the Week, Escobar of Arizona Monday, June 15th, 2020 At the age of 31, Eduardo Escobar might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Arizona third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .481 batting average. For his efforts Escobar collected the National League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 6 games. So far this season Escobar is batting .274 with 13 home runs. |
