DTD Injury Puts Scherzer out of Lineup Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals was hurt in yesterday's game with the Pirates. He sustained a strained oblique while throwing a pitch and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be one week before the standout starting pitcher will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. This season Scherzer has compiled a 7-2 mark, 2.94 ERA and made 17 starts. |
