Los Angeles Starter Named AL's Premier Pitcher Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 Andrew Heaney's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 5-0 in June, the 29-year-old Los Angeles hurler has been named American League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 43 in 39.1 innings, logged an ERA of 2.06 and allowed opponents to hit .191 against him. In 18 starts this year Heaney has recorded a 8-5 record and a 2.68 ERA. |
