Tellez Rips Scranton WB for 5 Hits Thursday, July 9th, 2020 Today at PNC Field, the Scranton WB RailRiders topped the Buffalo Bisons in spite of a standout batting performance by first baseman Rowdy Tellez. Tellez had a very impressive day at the plate, spanking Scranton WB pitching for 5 base hits, but couldn't do enough for a win. Scranton WB whipped Buffalo by the score of 9-8. Rowdy Tellez hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Domingo German in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Jonathan Holder in the 9th. So far this year in 76 games Tellez is hitting .294 with 13 home runs, 45 RBIs and 47 runs scored. |
