Week's #1 Player: Lehigh Valley's Mahtook

At the age of 30, Mikie Mahtook might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Lehigh Valley left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .429 batting average. For his efforts Mahtook collected the International League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 5 games.
This year Mahtook is batting .284 with 15 home runs. He has scored 50 runs and driven in 58.
