IL's #1 Player Named Monday, May 11th, 2020 A battle-tested Zack Cozart declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 34-year-old Lehigh Valley shortstop collected the International League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .435 average, 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this year Cozart has hit .289 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
