Season Over for Hernandez Friday, May 29th, 2020 Obviously disappointed, Felix Hernandez confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Gwinnett reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 34-year-old Hernandez suffered a damaged elbow ligament on 05/28/2020 and has been out of action since. To this point in the season, Hernandez has rung up no saves in 10 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 4.72 ERA, 3 wins and 3 losses and 34 strikeouts in 34.1 innings. |
