Buffalo Loses Borucki for Season Monday, June 1st, 2020 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Buffalo's Ryan Borucki to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 05/29/2020 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Borucki said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Borucki has been out of action since he suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. This year Borucki has a 1-5 mark in 10 starts with a 5.44 ERA. He has given up 58 hits in 48 innings, struck out 42 and issued 12 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .293 batting average against him. |
