Season Over for Requena Monday, June 8th, 2020 Alejandro Requena had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Lehigh Valley medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Lehigh Valley reliever suffered an arthritic elbow in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. Thus far this season Requena has compiled a 3-0 record, made 6 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 49 innings and striking out 55. He has held the opposition to a .192 batting average with a 3.67 ERA. |
