Early Season End for Perkins Monday, July 6th, 2020 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals: center fielder Blake Perkins is out for the year. Perkins suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament on 07/01/2020. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. So far this season Perkins is batting .255 with 5 home runs, 29 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 68 hits in 267 at-bats, 37 walks and a .350 OBP. Perkins has played in 73 games. |
