Vicens Goes 5-for-6 Monday, June 29th, 2020 Brandon Vicens was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at State Mutual Stadium, the Greenville right fielder blistered the Rome Braves for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 13-0 victory. "Vicens was too tough to get out today," Braves skipper Matt Tuiasosopo said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Brandon Vicens hit a two-run single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the year Vicens is batting .367 with 3 home runs, 24 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
