Injury Shuts Down Machamer for Season

The Greenville Drive have made it official: Chris Machamer is headed to the injured list. The 23-year-old reliever has been out since 07/11/2020 with bone chips in his elbow. He is expected to miss 4 months.
So far this season Machamer has 2 saves in 26 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 2.19 ERA.

MacDonald Batters Augusta for 5 Hits

Charleston defeated Augusta today at SRP Park. The star of the game for the RiverDogs was first baseman Kyle MacDonald. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-5 day, paving the way for Charleston's 7-6 triumph over the GreenJackets. Kyle MacDonald singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
MacDonald is hitting .405 this year with no home runs, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 15 hits in 37 at-bats, 3 walks and a .450 on-base percentage. MacDonald has played in 9 games.
