NWL Star of the Week Announced

When it came to hitting the baseball, Justin Ammons was in a class by himself in the Northwest League this past week. Nobody did it better.
The outstanding right fielder for Vancouver tagged opposing pitchers for a .472 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 17 hits in 36 at-bats, 1 homers, 11 runs scored and 13 RBIs.
This season Ammons is swinging the bat at a .313 rate with 31 hits in 99 at-bats. To date he has hit 2 home runs, scored 21 runs and driven in 24.
