Sorry I am so late with this, but I’m finally ready to announce the 2026 DTBL All-Star rosters. The 32nd annual DTBL All-Star Game will take place sometime in the next couple weeks, most likely later than usual because I’m so tardy in getting everything lined up this year. The Diamond Dogs will be the official host of the mid-summer classic for the first time. The American Division will look to snap a two game losing streak.
The tables have turned a bit in terms of which division has superiority in the league standings. American Division teams currently occupy four of the top five spots in the standings. It does appear they have the stronger roster on paper too. However, anything can happen in a single game. These rosters are loaded with young stars making their first All-Star Game appearances. It is starting to look like this year’s draft was much stronger than initially thought because a whole bunch of DTBL rookies found their way onto these rosters, including four who will be starting the game. On the flip side, Chris Sale and Freddie Freeman will be representing the National Division, each making their ninth career All-Star team.
Jacob Misiorowski will be the starting pitcher for the American Division. The Diamond Dogs have already gotten more out of him than they could have imagined after nabbing him in the second round of this year’s draft. He will be opposed by Mavericks righty Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who is making his All-Star debut in his second DTBL season. The Darkhorses and Diamond Dogs lead the way with seven All-Stars each.
As usual, there were several deserving players who couldn’t quite crack these rosters. A couple notable omissions include the league’s home run leader, Choppers slugger Kyle Schwarber, and on the pitching side, Cougars steady righty Joe Ryan just missed making it for the second straight year.
