Colorado Hands New York 5-3 Defeat
|
Colorado shortstop Francisco Lindor had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the New York Thunder Choppers, 5-3. Corey Kluber picked up the win with 7.1 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 10. On the season, he is now 13-8. Jose Alvarado was credited with the save, his 2nd in 2 tries.
With Colorado leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Lindor came up to bat against New York pitcher Chris Sale. Lindor hit a slider to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 19th home run of the season put the Demigods on top, 5-0.
