Komodos Prevail, 3-1, Over Colorado

Chicago and Colorado duked it out at Demidome and the Komodos came out victorious.
Chicago Komodos starter Chris Archer was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Colorado Demigods, 3-1. Archer went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 4-6. Kirby Yates, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.
The win was a team effort for Chicago. Shortstop Nick Ahmed was among the key contributors. In the top of the seventh, he put his team in front, 3-1, when he hit a 2-run single.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Colorado manager .
Chicago now owns a record of 21-27.
