|
Miami first baseman Jesus Aguilar had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 16-5. After today's action, Miami sits at 34-38, while Philadelphia falls to 34-37.
Aguilar had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a 1-0 fastball from Steven Okert, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Marlins a 7-5 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Aguilar.
"We came out aggressive," said Marlins manager Don Mattingly. "We came out swinging the bats."
